The Democracy and Peace Network (DAPN) is an independent social enterprise committed to one of the most urgent tasks of our time: creating a more democratic, peaceful, and sustainable planet. We work both globally and locally, developing societal structures that empower communities and foster lasting harmony. Our foundation is the belief that real change is possible when people are equipped with the tools for non-violent action, reconciliation, and democratic participation.
DAPN is guided by the leadership and vision of Vesna Cerroni, a strategist and advocate for peace and human rights with over two decades of experience collaborating with governments, international organisations, and civil society leaders. Her leadership has driven impact across the globe. She worked with non-governmental movements and progressive political parties, organizing campaigns for political, peace, and human rights. In Australia, she applied her strategic advocacy skills at the Federal Parliament.
